Today I went to the thrift store twice and bought two dresses and I also made two skirts. Well, finished one and made another. I have been crafting like crazy for Ladyfest, this women’s music/culture/etc. thing that’s happening here in Dayton in a few weeks. I get to have my own merch booth which is pretty exciting. I’m hoping all the stuff I’m making sells there because, uh, I’m still unemployed. I guess what doesn’t sell I can put up on Etsy, but that’s just not nearly as satisfying as getting cold, hard cash for my labors.
Tomorrow is Colonel Butler’s promotion and a big party to accompany it and then on Friday I am going up to Cleveland to visit Sarah and Sean and Micah. Good times!
